We are two people who love music and love dogs and have decided to invest our time and efforts into creating event that will allow us to share our love of music while benefiting a few local dog rescues. We have had the pleasure of parenting two rescue dogs both had been trained in the FIDOS program through Mommy and Me Rescue.Mommy and Me Rescue (Mt. Carmel, PA) takes in many medical cases, dogs that need emergency treatment that would suffer or die without intervention. They are also involved in the FIDOS program at SCI Coal Township were inmates train dogs prior to adoption. This program benefits both the dogs and the inmates. Patriot K9 Rescue (Elysburg, PA) finds homes for retired military, police, and other service dogs our “Hero Dogs”. Rescue Pets Serving Vets (Benton, PA) adopts dogs to the public but also provides Veterans with much needed companions free of charge. These rescues require significant funds to be run successfully and with the rising cost of literally everything this becomes more difficult to manage.Dennis and I have personally met with and visited each of these rescues and they all are actively involved in the planning of the event. Our goal is to raise money, raise awareness, allow an opportunity for the rescues to network with each other and most of all have a great day of fun and entertainment.
