Hi, I’m Michelle Barton! My husband and I have called New Gisborne home for over 20 years, raising our two daughters here before they ventured off into their own lives. By day, I work full-time at a local school camp, but my true creative passion lies in painting. Since 2017, I’ve been crafting hand-painted, textured backdrops for photographers and videographers—a journey that started with my love for painting itself.I’m completely self-taught, learning through trial and error, and I first picked up a paintbrush during a stressful time in my life. Painting quickly became my personal escape, a way to find peace and clarity. Now, I want to share that experience with you!That’s why I’ve created Paint & Sip Sundays—a fun, relaxed space where you can unwind, get creative, and enjoy great company.
