Welcome to Melancoose, our new boutique wellness retreat and venue hidden in the woods near Newquay. Please allow us to introduce ourselves...WHO ARE WE?We’re a family-run health, wellbeing, and mindfulness getaway immersed in tranquil woodlands. Set in and around our Grade II-listed wood mill dating back to 1899, we aim to bring people closer to nature so they can develop their physical, mental, and spiritual health.WHAT ARE WE ABOUT?Our goal is to collaborate with local practitioners, creatives, and communities and offer individuals and groups a range of affordable workshops that are rooted in creativity, nature, health, fitness, and wellbeing. Think supper clubs, yoga retreats, art and photography clinics, children’s lessons, nature walks, and more.WHAT ARE OUR FACILITIES?We’ve restored our old wood mill with modern wellness in mind, but without compromising its magic and history. Our workshops can be scaled up to our 40m2 floodlit studio space with high-spec audio, or offered in our more intimate 25m2 snug with a large table and comfortable seating – perfect for communal dining and creative meetings. Guests are also free to enjoy our eight-person hot tub, ten- person sauna, cold plunge and firepit. We have on-site changing facilities, showers and toilets, too.
