As a lifelong first responder and Military Veteran, I existed in the emotional state of frequent alert and constant urgency, where my sympathetic nervous system was always dominant as a means of survival. Through the years, I sought ways to down-regulate my nervous system when I encountered Breathwork, while attending a healing retreat in Costa Rica. It was life changing for me and the answer I had been searching for my entire life to counter stress of my every day existence, which I had come to believe was normal.I was inspired to become a Breathwork facilitator to share this experience with others and influence them in a manner that facilitates them to heal themselves. I am grateful for this role I have in helping others to find balance in mind, body, and soul.
