There was a time when we didn’t fit in—so we built a space where we did. Since 2011, MISMATCH has been more than a party; it’s a rite of passage for misfits, club kids, rule-breakers, and the unapologetically fabulous. A safe space turned sacred space, where otherness isn’t just welcomed— it’s celebrated.Founded by the DIY grit of nightlife pioneers Bobby Luo and Ritz Lim (co-founders of the now-legendary Butter Factory nightclub), MISMATCH evolved from an underground whisper to an electrifying movement that helped shape Singapore’s queer dance music scene long before inclusivity became a buzzword. Alongside its sister offshoots, Yum Yum Disco Dong (house/disco) and Baby Boy (hip hop/r&b), MISMATCH has hosted global queer icons and underground dancefloor disruptors, spotlighting artists who don’t just play music—they shift culture
