Diana Shay Diehl is an artist/educator and owner of Mojave Light Studio, established in 2009. Her home studio is located in the southwestern corner of Yucca Valley about a 1/2 mile hike from the boundary of beautiful, inspirational Joshua Tree National Park. She specializes in experimental photography and encaustic (beeswax fused with heat) as well as natural pigments and organic materials to enhance artworks. Diana's work can be seen exclusively at theDesert Art Centerin Palm Springs where she is a gallery artist and serves on the board and at theBorrego Art Institutein Borrego Springs.The Shed Gallery, a literal mini shed on her property, also exhibits her current works in progress or featured guest artists. The studio and gallery is open most 3rd Sundays of the month for collaborative discussions, demonstrations in experimental photography, printmaking, or working with beeswax.
