Hi, I’m Monica Afi Akakpo, a proud African woman, born and raised in Ghana, and now living in the UK. I work in the financial services sector and have been playing golf for years. But when I moved to the UK, I realised how rare it was to find other Black and Brown women enjoying the game like I did.That’s what inspired me to create the Black Women Golf Network — a luxury and empowering community for women of colour who want to explore golf, connect across industries, and unlock new opportunities.We host events that are more than just golf days — they’re vibrant, stylish, and deeply intentional experiences where women at every level, from junior analysts to senior executives, can relax, grow, and network meaningfully.
