Tax-deductible donations support the Museum's many educational programs, exhibits, and operations. Our mission is to provide a gateway to the past that educates, entertains and inspires lifelong learningWe were founded in 2001 by Dr. Jon and Lorna Kardatzke. About two years later – due to tremendous growth – the Museum moved to the well known "Farm & Art Market" building in Old Town. We now represent over 300 collectors. The building is located just east of downtown and is a converted former paper warehouse. Old Town offers a vibrant mix of restaurants, shops, clubs, and attractions in central Wichita. While the Museum of World Treasures is still considered young, it is the number one rated museum in Wichita on TripAdvisor.
