NAACP Garland Texas Unit

The Garland, Texas Unit of the NAACP was chartered on July 6, 1984 with 127 members. Ms. Goldie Locke served as founding president. After more than 33 years of service in Garland and surrounding cities, this nonprofit organization is an intricate part of the leadership community, and has been recognized on the local, state and national levels.Currently, Mr. Ricky C. McNeal services as Unit president and the Honorable Annie L. Dickson is vice president.
