I am a Registered Psychotherapist with the College of Registered Therapists of Ontario, practising on the West side of Toronto. I can also be called a Family Counsellor or Mental Health Therapist. I was inspired to obtain my Master’s degree in Counselling after having my third child and experiencing the ups and downs of family life myself.I have always been drawn to the forest. As a child, I was free to roam the woods and the roads with my brother and cousins and I can still remember specific rocks and trees we would gather around and play. As an adult, I often seek green spaces, especially when feeling stressed or down. Becoming a certified forest therapy guide was a very natural progression for me. I discovered the Association of Nature and Forest Therapy (ANFT) in 2022 and through my training, I solidified what I already knew: the forest can heal.My goal is to connect participants with nature as a way to cope with the effects of stress, anxiety and depression. My mission is to open the door for all to experience the transformative power of nature.
