Established in 2005 in response to critical national challenges, the Forum serves as a platform for sharing knowledge, advancing collective priorities, and engaging with the Crown and community stakeholders on kaupapa of national significance.We host quarterly hui that bring together iwi Chairs, government representatives, sector experts, and community voices to progress issues across five strategic Pou: Taiao (environment), Tangata (social development), Tikanga (customary law), Tahua (economic development), and Āhuarangi (climate change). These events foster collaboration, inform policy, and strengthen whānau, hapū and iwi futures.Our mission is to elevate iwi-led solutions grounded in Te Tiriti o Waitangi and tikanga Māori. Join us in shaping a thriving, unified future for our people.
