The National Council of Negro Women (NCNW) mission is to lead, empower and advocate for women of African descent, their families and communities. The NCNW Pomona Valley Section is committed to promoting community involvement, educational achievement and self-pride to the Pomona Valley region. We are further committed to the fulfillment of the legacy of our Founder, Mary McLeod Bethune; "leave no one behind." Parts of our mission are planning positive community events for the youth of Pomona Valley that will encourage them to reach for the stars of the future and building bridges of understanding and opportunity.
