Nordic Ball Committee

Renee Vaughn, Kari Tauring, Elise Peters, and Carol Sersland (pictured above) are the core of the volunteer committee who organizes and hosts the Twin Cities Nordic Ball and monthly "Second Sunday Nordic Social Dance" at Tapestry Folkdance Center in Minneapolis, Minnesota (see the Tapestry link). Our love of this music and dance is our driving force.Our mission is to promote folk music and dance from Norway, Sweden, Denmark, and Finland in Minnesota and abroad. To this end we engage local folk musicians and dance instructors (see the Facebook link) at our twice-monthly lesson sessions, the Second Sunday program, and of course, the annual Ball!We want you to fall in love with Nordic folk music and dance.
