Kappa Alpha Psi ®, a college Fraternity, now comprised of functioning Undergraduate and Alumni Chapters on major campuses and in cities throughout the country, is the crystallization of a dream. It is the beautiful realization of a vision shared commonly by the late Revered Founders Elder Watson Diggs; John Milton Lee; Byron Kenneth Armstrong; Guy Levis Grant; Ezra Dee Alexander; Henry Tourner Asher; Marcus Peter Blakemore; Paul Waymond Caine; Edward Giles Irvin and George Wesley Edmonds.-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------About New Rochelle-White Plains - Alumni ChapterTwelve strong men of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Incorporated chartered the New Rochelle-White Plains Alumni Chapter on December 9, 1972. These Charter members were James W. Alexander, Edward E. Dickerson III, Jefferson Dudley, Robert D. Fullenweider, George V. Russell, Harvey C. Russell, Augustus Smith, Robert L. Staton, Joe C. Tibbs, William H. Tibbs IV, James C. Vereen, and Ronald D. Walker. Among its earlier credits, the New Rochelle-White Plains Alumni Chapter established an undergraduate Chapter of Iota Rho on the campus of Fordham University, served as Big Brothers to the Wiltwyck School for Boys, provided scholarship opportunities to college bound students, aided in voter registration drives, and served on the Pan-Hellenic council of Westchester-Rockland Counties.
