Ohio School-Based Health Alliance

TheOhio School-Based Health Alliance (“Ohio Alliance”)is Ohio’s only statewide organization created to advance and support the sustainability and expansion of school-based health care. Since 2010, the organization has been designated as the state affiliate of the national School-Based Health Alliance. Building on its decades-long history of supporting school-based health care partners, the Ohio Alliance serves as the strategic voice, thought leader, resource center, and connecting entity on school-based health care in Ohio.The organization was founded in 2002 under the premise that "healthy kids learn better" and relaunched in 2021 under the fiscal sponsorship of Health Impact Ohio, a regional healthcare collaborative.Our VisionBuild a future in which every student, family, and community has the equitable health services, supports, and systems they need to achieve optimal health and education outcomes.Our MissionTo improve access to comprehensive, integrated health services through school-based health care to advance equity and improve health and education outcomes for students, their families, and communities.
