Operation Care Package Ohio became a non profit is 2021. The missions began far before that. When the founder, Marisa Rose was just 10 years old. She started raking leaves, doing odd and end chores, and working at her father’s clothing store, Cleveland Uniform inc in Cleveland, to raise a couple dollars.A group of friends and herself would then combine the money earned and go to local dollar stores to pick up toys, candy, and other items for the children being bussed to her school from a local all boys home. (Cleveland Christian Home).These care packages were given around Easter and Christmas.Operation Care Package Ohio consists of a board of all woman, and majority of them veterans. Care packages, food, toiletries, and othere essential care items are provided to displaced Veterans, struggling families, as well as deployed military.
