Orkney Cloth

Orkney Cloth is run by weaver India Whitwell, and was founded in 2019. India brings her background in fine art and passion for heritage textiles, creating sustainable artisan products, which promote quality and craftsmanship.We are situated in the northernly Orkney Isles, just off the Scottish coast. Orkney's rugged and wild landscape is the perfect place to be inspired by; where both heritage and culture are part of everyday life.India is keen to share the craft of weaving, and her inspiration from her island home, and enjoys teaching the heritage craft during week long retreats.
