Parent and Professional Resource Centre

The County of Lambton recognizes the importance of continuous professional learning for our own growth and also the benefit this has for the children and families we work with. This is demonstrated through their continued funding allowing the Parent & Professional Resource Centre (PPRC) to offer professional learning opportunities to all Registered Early Childhood Educators, ECE students, home child care providers, parents, teachers and other community partners working with children and youth.Our goal is to offer learning experiences that are in line with current practices and meet the needs of all educators and families in our community. Our plans are reflective of the changes in the Early Childhood profession and build from the College of Early Childhood Educators (CECE), Code of Ethics and Standards of Practice and the government of Ontario documents, How Does Learning Happen? Ontario’s Pedagogy for the Early Years and the new Kindergarten program.
