Partnership for Accessible Transportation Help

Partnership for Accessible Transportation Help (PATH) is a mobility management program dedicated to improving access to transportation in Virginia’s Region 10. PATH’s mission is to empower residents by helping them navigate and utilize the transportation options available in their communities.PATH serves all residents of Charlottesville and the counties of Albemarle, Nelson, Greene, Louisa, and Fluvanna, with a particular emphasis on assisting seniors and individuals with disabilities. Through personalized information and referral services, transportation workshops, and travel training, PATH ensures that community members have the knowledge and resources needed to travel safely and independently.Beyond individual support, PATH plays an active role in supplementing the existing region’s transportation network. The program collaborates and supports local volunteer driver programs, and partners with transportation providers to improve transportation services for older adults and people with disabilities. By fostering these partnerships, PATH helps enhance mobility and independence for residents across Region 10.
