Hi, I am Kat, a certified Pro Dog Trainer from Absolute Dogs, and working towards a L3 Diploma in Canine Care, Behaviour and Welfare.Following games- and concept-based dog training methods which are force-free and fun for you and your dog, we seek to reshape the dogs brain to make them confident to deal with whatever the world throws at them; whether you are struggling with recall, anxiety, barking, counter-surfing, etc - there is a game for every struggle!I have been around rescue dogs all my life, and currently own four wonderful rescue dogs that are learning through the same methods as I will be offering in my training.I am particularly passionate about rescue dogs and a strong advocate that every dog deserves a home, and have been volunteering and supporting local rescue centres for many years.I want to make a difference for everyone who is currently struggling with their dog-owner relationship and feels like there is no hope. My aim is to inspire a fun and trusting dog-owner relationship and provide a 'rescue' for owners who feel a bit lost, and ideally preventing dogs from ending up in rescue centres because their guardians saw no other way out.I also offer training and behaviour advice for free to dog rescue centres to support the training of resident dogs and improve their chances to find a loving forever home.
