Founded in 2016, the Pompey History Society is now a registered charity (No. 1201687) which has the the following objective:TO ADVANCE THE EDUCATION OF THE PUBLIC IN THE SOCIAL, CULTURAL, AND SPORTING HISTORY AND DEVELOPMENT OF PORTSMOUTH FOOTBALL CLUB BY THE PRESERVATION AND EXHIBITION OF ITEMS OF EDUCATIONAL AND/OR HISTORICAL VALUE AND THE ESTABLISHMENT OF AND MAINTENANCE OF A MUSEUM COLLECTION.
