Pro-Choice YQL

The Pro-Choice Society of Lethbridge & Southern Alberta was created in response to the need in Lethbridge and area for abortion information and improvement of abortion access.Our organization started in spring 2018 as a grassroots movement of people speaking out against misleading and harmful anti-abortion advertisements that began to appear on transit buses, shelters, and benches across Lethbridge. With the support of many people in the community, this group of activists successfully lobbied the City of Lethbridge to remove the ads. Though this was an incredible victory, it remained clear that the fight was not over.There is more work to be done in securing access to abortion and other reproductive health care services for people in this region, and we are here to help.The Pro-Choice Society of Lethbridge & Southern Alberta is a registered charity.Our Objectives:- To relieve poverty by providing financial assistance to individuals who are of low income or in need to access abortion services and contraception- To advance education about the availability of and access to abortion services and contraception- To increase the availability of abortion services and contraception- To reduce barriers to accessing existing abortion services and contraception
