The Providence Baptist Church family is made up of people who have been delivered from sin by our wonderful Savior the Lord Jesus Christ, and are being transformed by His amazing grace (Titus 3:4-7). We are committed to preaching the whole counsel of God which includes declaring God’s perfect law and the glorious gospel of Jesus Christ (Acts 20:27). We are also committed to the 5 sola’s of the reformation: by Scripture alone we mean that the Bible is our only authority for faith and practice; by Faith alone we mean that we are justified by faith alone; by Grace alone we mean that salvation is a free gift of God’s unmerited favor and can in no way be earned; by Christ alone we mean that Jesus Christ is the only Savior of sinners, and the only way for man to be made right with God; and lastly, by Glory to God alone we mean that all the glory belongs to God for our salvation since it is His sovereign will and action that brought it into being.
