Rachel Leeding

Rachel is an Australian actor, singer, writer, occasional dancer, and children’s entertainer, whose love of performing began behind the piano with her grandmother. She graduated with a Bachelor of Music Theatre from Federation University Arts Academy (BAPA) in 2020, after a final performance as Maggie Winslow in ‘A Chorus Line’. In the COVID-ridden years that followed, she found herself straying from her theatrical roots to explore the world of screen acting. After five years making short films within her network, Rachel is now taking the next step, writing an independent film of her own. ‘The Funeral’ will be her directorial debut, and she is ready to use all she has learned to tell this poignant and heartfelt story.
