Learn essential skills in woodworking, electronics, textiles, upcycling, and more!Rebuild offers 21st-century shop classes for all ages throughout the Los Angeles area. Through playful, sustainably-minded, hands-on workshops, we inspire participants to develop new handy skills while repurposing discarded materials into valuable, eco-conscious creations.Rebuild is the passion project of Mx. Julia(n) Rich (they/he), a full time 6-12 grade S.T.E.A.M. educator and makerspace manager focusing on creative reuse in maker education.When Mx. Rich saw the need for teaching adults the same maker skills they were teaching their students, Julia(n) started teaching handy and mending classes for all ages during their school breaks and on weekends as Rebuild. Classes have been held at libraries, community spaces, creative reuse stores, and more. Rebuild focuses on inspiring developing makers of all ages to dive into sustainable woodworking, electronics, crafting, and textile work.
