Ridgeville Park District

Ridgeville exists to enhance the quality of life, to promote a strong sense of community and contribute to the health of our citizens, community and environment by providing safe, attractive parks, opportunities to build community, and a diverse, challenging set of arts and recreational programs.Ridgeville Park District is a public agency dedicated to enriching the lives of its residents and neighbors in South Evanston. Named after a historical settlement around present-day Ridge Avenue, Ridgeville is separate from the City of Evanston’s recreation department. Ridgeville maintains seven parks which cover more than 14 acres of green space in south Evanston. All parks are open daily from 9am-9pm.
