R. Jackson + Capital City Events is a passionate and client-driven community event company. We are deeply devoted to improving the mindset and physical conditions of our community and culture here in Louisiana.A proud Westbank native, our event history started back in 2001on the historic campus of Southern University and A&M College. While earning a Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Computer Science with a minor in Electrical Engineering we didn't want to be the typical "broke college kids", so as a member of the world renowned Human Jukebox Marching Band, where we solidified our appreciation for music and the significance of developing young adult culture this Brand was formed.Our favorite mantra is “It takes a village to raise a child.” As a result, we are firmly committed to ensuring that each experience is rooted in ‘old school Southern values’ and adopt the golden rules of common courtesy, a strong work ethic, and respect for self, others, and community.
