I never meant to spend my working life sitting at a desk. In fact at 18 I wanted to spend my life out of doors, but life had other ideas and I took a different path, until now.After a series of illnesses, culminating in skin cancer and chemotherapy, I decided in Feb 2020 that I was going to live the life I always wanted to, and invite others to join me and together we would have a great time. We would laugh. We would enjoy the countryside from land or water. We would have weekends away. We would live our lives to their fullest.I've had walking qualifications from GirlGuiding for about 10 years and have taken hundreds of girls and women walking for pleasure, for Duke of Edinburgh awards at all levels, for challenges. I've been a qualified canoe coach for about 25 years and have lost count of the numbere of people I've coached and made better paddlers, or introduced to paddlesport.I know (because they've told me) that the skills and knowledge and fun people have had with me in the out of doors has transformed their lives.I therefore set up Of Paths and Paddles to help transform your life.
