Roy Buckley is a singer, songwriter, recording artists, and owner of The Song Collector Sessions concert series from Cork City, Ireland.A huge lover of Irish culture, Roy Buckley has been singing, collecting, writing and promoting Irish songs all his life. He is a keen believer in nurturing Irish music because of its historical roots, its importance in the identity of Ireland, and the joy it brings to music lovers all around the world.In the Summer of 2012, he established The Song Collector Sessions as a platform to celebrate and promote Irish artists and their songs with a series of concerts all around Ireland. Today the concert series continues with productions featuring Ireland’s finest songwriters, performers and song collectors.
