The RSWA promotes interdisciplinary exchange and supports science through various activities such as publications, meetings, symposia, and events. It also acknowledges exceptional scientific achievements by awarding several prizes including the John Glover Student Research Support Grants. The Journal of the Royal Society of Western Australia is the foundation of the society, featuring peer-reviewed research and reviews focused on local science, including anthropology and archaeology.
