Skillcity Institute, established in 2015 in Edmonton, Alberta, is a nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering underserved youth and families by providing the skills, tools, experience, opportunities, and support systems they need to thrive. We focus on young individuals from racialized and under-resourced communities, equipping them with essential skills for success in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM) fields.Recognizing that youth are the next generation of workers, entrepreneurs, and innovators, we forge pathways to economic prosperity through innovative programs and support systems. Our mission is to help youth access opportunities that shape their future, enabling them to reach their full potential and contribute to Canada’s future economic and social prosperity.We partner with schools, businesses, and community leaders to inspire and support this generation of Canadian leaders.
