Slavic Refugee and Immigrant Services Organization’s (SRISO) mission is to help Ukrainian refugees rebuild their lives and communities in the United States with compassion, dignity and respect. SRISO offers a range of services through various programs, including housing support, food distribution, basic household item distribution, connecting families with resources for jobs, healthcare, and financial assistance, workforce development, youth engagement, and mental health support. Since 2022, we have provided temporary housing for 200 families until they secured long-term accommodation, delivered 3,000 bags of food, distributed over 1,000 essential household items, and supplied school supplies to 150 youths. Our mental health program has offered peer support groups and one-on-one counseling sessions to over 300 individuals in the past year.
