Sandra Makarewicz is an accomplished Calgary based makeup artist with 13+ years’ experience within the makeup industry. Sandra has always been passionate for the arts, which led her to start her own business in 2013. Smak Studios has been a growing business ever since!In addition to beauty and bridal, Sandra specializes in special effects makeup for film and television. Sandra has worked on many films within the Calgary area and enjoys creating  custom made prosthetics.Her work has also been published in various online publications and within the Confetti and Rocky Mountain Bride magazine. Sandra is self-taught and takes inspiration from everything that surrounds her in her daily life. She is constantly learning new techniques to keep up with today’s beauty standards so that she can continue to deliver top quality results for her clientele.
