The SCC Counselling Service has been accredited by BACP (British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy) since 2003.The British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP) is a membership organisation and a registered charity that sets standards for therapeutic practice and provides information for therapists, clients of therapy, and the general public.SCC Continuing Professional Development Programme (CPD)The CPD programme is designed principally for those working in the field of psychotherapy, counselling, social work and other caring professions.Workshops usually take place at SCC – Apsley House, Tower Street, Taunton, TA1 4BHEach year we run a series of workshops covering a range of topics and interests.
