Somerset County Republican Committee

The mission of the Somerset County Republican Committee is to support and promote party candidates at every level of government, from national to state, county, and municipal candidates.We believe foremost in individual freedom and the importance of family as essential elements in maintaining a strong nation. We believe the government, in its role as the people’s representation, exists to preserve and protect an individual’s God given right to “life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness”.We believe laws that subvert individual liberty and the role of the family are immoral and are themselves are illegally and unjustly perpetrated against the people.We recognize that the United States government is a Constitutional Republic, and that no other form of government may exists at the state and national level.We support the equal rights and equal opportunities of all individuals.We call on the people of Somerset County to join with us in our mission, to assist us in defending our nation against those who work to destroy it, and, through a vigorous grassroots effort, to restore our nation to sanity, truth, and justice.We hereby pledge to identify and comprehensively support Republican candidates within Somerset County, the State of Maine, and our country.
