Soroptimist International of Harrogate and District is part of an international women’s voluntary organisation (SIGBI*) working to improve the lives of women and girls at a local, national and international level.Founded in 1933 the Club has a long history of making a difference to the lives of women and girls* Soroptimist International Great Britain and Ireland (SIGBI) has over 5000 Members in 250 Clubs in 18 countries including Great Britain, Ireland and countries in Asia, and the Caribbean, who work at a local, national and international level to educate, empower and enable women and girls.
