The Souper Bowl is an annual soup competition hosted byAngela May Chenand Soup Queen Sarah Khoshaba ofGunther's. What started as a humble gathering in a San Francisco apartment in 2019 has grown into a highly anticipated event, now held in venues throughout New York. Each year, The Souper Bowl brings together people from all walks of life to celebrate soup while fostering culture, community, and connection. Proceeds from the event are donated to local soup kitchens and organizations fighting food insecurity.
