Tap Dance Dublin - Colleen Werle

Instructor Colleen Werle is a tap dancer hailing from Chicago, where she was a member of TONIK Tap Dance Company for four years, serving as dancer, choreographer, and rehearsal manager. Her choreography has been selected twice for Dance Chicago Festival in 2010 & 2011. Since moving to Ireland she has performed on invitation from the Irish embassy in Cyprus and at Reja Festival in Tirana, Albania, as a founding member of Atlantic Dance Exchange dance collective. She began studying ballet, jazz, and tap at the age of three in her hometown of Richmond, Indiana, and has advanced her skills under the guidance of master tappers Mark Yonally, Billy Siegenfeld, and Jay Fagan.Colleen holds a degree in Theatre from Northwestern University, where she specialized in acting, dance, and puppetry. She is proud to be in her 9th year teaching tap dance in Dublin! Equally experienced in both rhythm and Broadway styles, her teaching encompasses clean, complex rhythms for a full body performance that's tonnes of fun!
