The Alpha Leagues

Raised in Kansas, Barbara lived with her biological mother until age 9 and then became a ward of the state until aging out. Although living and being away from her biological siblings and childhood friends, she found a way to cope through after school sports and activities.Her experience of being a woman of color and single mother, with 4 adult daughters and 9 grandchildren, Barbara’s desire and focus remains on guiding young girls to becoming strong women and grooming young boys to becoming successful leaders. Her love for education and youth development over the past 22 years has led her to the formation of Alpha Female League Inc, where she can not only fulfil her calling as an educator and leader but fulfil her purpose in helping to grow and nourish others.
