The Amber Foundation

The Amber Foundation provides housing and support to young adults (aged 18-30) facing complex challenges like homelessness, long term unemployment and mental ill health.At our supported housing centres in Devon, Wiltshire, Surrey and Kent we work hard to maintain peaceful and caring environments where young people feel safe. We recognise that a holistic approach is key and supporting young people to improve their independent living skills and helping them become more ready for employment need to go hand in hand with ensuring they are in the right place emotionally and psychologically to live independently.Our intervention is temporary with the aim that within six - nine months young people are equipped to move on from Amber to a job, a place at college or university and most importantly of all a safe place to call home.
