Why Campfire CommunityCampfire Community is a vibrant group of Christians in Singapore. What makes us unique is our emphasis on embracing the Father's heart, as fully revealed in the self giving, radically forgiving and co-suffering love of Christ. Truth is, God is like Jesus. Without Jesus, we will never know that the invisible God of the universe is actually a Fatherly figure who loves us all unconditionally!We welcome people from all denominations and backgrounds, drawing inspiration from a wide range of Christian traditions and even philosophical influences dating back to ancient times. We provide a safe and inclusive environment for individuals exploring their spiritual journeys, especially those going through moments of questioning and growth. Unlike some church communities, we celebrate theological diversity, valuing the richness it brings to our collective experience. Nicene Creed: At the core of our theological stance lies the profound significance of the Nicene Creed. We firmly anchor ourselves in the belief in the incarnation, life, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ2. Scriptural Authority: While we hold a deep reverence for scriptures, we place greater emphasis on interpreting and evaluating every viewpoint through the lens of "What would Jesus say about this matter?" Our unwavering conviction is that Jesus is the ultimate revelation of God's Word, and we eagerly seek to align our biblical understanding with the heart of Christ.3. Universal Reconciliation: We embrace the blessed hope of apokatastasis, which entails the universal restoration of all things as depicted in Acts 3:21. Drawing support from scriptural evidence, the teachings of the early church fathers, and our innate spiritual discernment, we find compelling reasons to embrace the hopeful belief in universalism—that ultimately, all would be saved.4. Radical Inclusion: In the incarnation of Christ, we witness the radical inclusion of all humanity in His redemptive plan.
