The Darkroom Chicago is a Black mom-owned business celebrating the art of film photography. Founded out of a deep love for film and a generational relationship with photography, our mission is to foster connection and creativity through hands-on film and darkroom experiences that revive the nostalgia of a lost skill. Each workshop invites individuals and couples to immerse themselves in a unique artistic journey, capturing beautiful moments on 35mm film and developing their own prints.
