The Engineering Club, founded in 1987, hosts events which explore the broad culture of engineering in an informal and engaging setting. Our activities include a diverse series of talks covering all facets of engineering, from cutting-edge innovation to historical achievements. These talks are free to attend, with refreshments and lively discussions afterward. Many are recorded to build a growing archive of insights and ideas.Beyond talks, we organise exhibitions on engineering topics, professional training opportunities, workshops, book clubs, and film nights. Sustainability is a key focus, with events that highlight engineering’s role in creating a more resilient and sustainable future.
