The Ground Up Project

Stand alongside parents of neurodivergent children as they start the arduous journey of developing a unique residential community for special needs individuals. With tasks such as procuring land to build this dream on, and educating our community of all that these amazing young people are capable of - the load can seem overwhelming. We know it is only with the support of those around us this will be possible. Ultimately this independent living community with have several tiered residential options ranging from tiny homes for self-sufficient residents, to apartments with 24/7 assistance on hand and group homes including an in-house aide with their own quarters for those who might need more prompting on day-to-day tasks. The central community center will encourage group social skills, house facilities for therapeutic and medical providers to provide services and offer onsite employment opportunities for the residents. The foundation is developing community relations programs to assist residents in working and socializing in the local community to their utmost desires and abilities!
