The Hopkins Festival Committee, founded in 18 to celebrate the poetry of Victorian poet, Gerard Manley Hopkins and his time in Ireland, have organised The Hopkins Literary Festival each year since. Normally held in Newbridge College during the last week of July. The Hopkins Youth Festival is a unique feature. Young people from all over join a dedicated programme and enjoy mingling with our visitors.
