The Virginia Black History Month Association

The Virginia Black History Month Association (VaBHMA) is anon-profit 501 c 3 tax-exempt charitable organizationthat provides education and hosts family-centered social events in celebration of African-American history during the month of February and throughout the year.For almost two decades the VaBHMA has been a major contributor to the cultural awareness of the Washington, DC, Maryland and Virginia area. For 19 years we have welcomed over 20,000 guests to our events with more than 40 different organization or corporations in attendance.
