The Wondrous Collective

Back in 2008 we opened a gas station in Eagan and decided we wanted to serve the best food in the Twin Cities in a building with gas pumps. We named it Farmer's Grandson Eatery after my Grandma Elfreda. From hand-pattied burgers to fresh-cut fries, and even prime rib Thursdays we wanted to be different. After many years of hard work we eventually had lines out the door at breakfast and lunch but came to the realization that people just don't think of gas stations as a place to go for dinner. Even our regulars would admit it's not the place to bring a first date or take the family out to celebrate something special. When the e-cigarette shop closed next door to the gas station we decided it would be the perfect spot for a burger and beer spot, and we opened Burgers and Bottles in 2014.A year later when the repair shop behind us closed we turned it into Volstead House, a hidden prohibition-era bar, and our first location to serve cocktails and liquor.A year later in 2016 we took over the Ground Round in Farmington and created our first full-size restaurant, Bourbon Butcher featuring smoked meats and craft cocktails.Since then, we have opened one or more restaurants each year including Whiskey Inferno in Savage, Tequila Butcher and Rum Row in Chanhassen, Farm Town Beer Hall and Square Cut Pizza in Farmington, Pizzeria Social, Curiouser Coffee, and Minnesota Burger Company in Apple Valley.
