Nureen is a trauma-focused therapist with experience in crises. Nureen helps adults rebuild relationships with themselves and others after trauma. With a Master's Degree in Clinical Social Work from Columbia University and specialized trauma training, including EMDR levels one and two, Nureen guides her clients through body-based modalities to recognize their body reactions, identify emotions, and improve communication of their feelings and needs.In addition to her clinical work, Nureen is a certified Retreat Leader through Fit Bodies, Inc., a facilitator of the NCTSN's Core Curriculum on Childhood Trauma, and has completed a two-year post-graduate institute training in trauma studies at the Institute for Contemporary Psychotherapy (ICP). She is also currently enrolled in Harvard Business School Online’s Credential of Leadership, Impact, and Management in Business (CLIMB), expanding her ability to integrate leadership strategies into her practice.
