Uncle Staple is the founder and lead organizer of STAPLE! The Independent Media Expo, an annual indie comics, zines, art, crafts and games show in Austin, and premier event of its type in the Southwest. Begun in 2005, STAPLE! has been on pandemic hiatus since 2019.
