¡Vamos! Flamenco Camp Crete

EN:Vamoswas founded by Arab pirates who were expelled from Spain in the 8th century. The village takes its name from the spanish word "Vamos" that means "lets go!"The idea to host a Flamenco Camp in Vamos comes from the deep connection with the village, its people, its food and history with the flamenco culture. In particular, the interaction between the Arab legacy and the flamenco culture is still vivid, and you may still perceive such heritage in their musical traditions. This is why we thought of Vamos and its community as the ideal cradle for this event: it would be an extremely humbling and healing experience, to be able to share knowledge and passion for the Flamenco mesmerising culture, providing the audience with a moment of beauty and joy to share altogether.
